A Salty / Sweet Match Made In Rosie’s Kitchen!

I received a message from Gavin in Sweden in morning, expressing he was missing the taste of cookies we had made when he was visiting me in Minnesota.

I decided to share this scrumptious recipe with you. The great thing about this cookie recipe is that it very simple to master.  You can make as many as you wish at a time.

Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.  Lay mini-square pretzels on a cookie sheet.  Add a caramel and chocolate candy named Rolo to the top of the pretzel.   Bake for 2-3 minutes or until slightly melted.  Remove from oven.   Add a pecan to each and press down.

Be creative for the holidays and drizzle white chocolate over the pecan or place red and green M & M’s on top instead of the pecan.

I have also placed a Rolo candy in the center of chocolate chip cookies or peanut butter cookies when they come out of the oven.  The possibilities are endless.  Be creative!

These cookies freeze well. A large container of cookies is always in the freezer at this address for when cookie-monster company stops by!

Until next time with more Sweet Conclusions,

Rosie & Gavin
