Give Thanks

Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November. A day of giving thanks and for some a day of feasting on traditional foods. Wherever you find yourself on Thursday – Thanksgiving Day – whether filled with joy or wrapped in pain – whether with loved ones or alone – remember to pause a moment and give thanks.

Thanksgiving to me is not about the food grown on the farm, prepared in the kitchen, explained on “Grandma’s – Mom’s” recipe card and served on Thanksgiving day; it is in the food of faith, hope, and love. God serves this food everyday. Always fresh – it never spoils – the food of life!

Everyday should be a day of Thanksgiving!  Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds sing!

Until next time with more Sweet Conclusions – Happy Thanksgiving – thankful for each of you!
