Sweet Conclusions Kitchen

I enjoy spending time in the “Sweet Conclusions” kitchen when Gavin is writing in America and he enjoys the benefits of tasting what I make. Nothing is better than a simple “no bake recipe” ~ especially one that you can make in a few minutes with no fuss and no mess. This recipe calls for all ingredients to go into one bowl, stir and place in the pan.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

1 cup butter (melted)
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (11 oz) bag milk chocolate chips

1. Combine all ingredients, except chocolate chips in a medium sized bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
2. Pour peanut butter mixture into a 9 x 13 pan.

3. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave ( about 1 minute) Stir chocolate and pour over the peanut butter mixture. Spread chocolate with a spatula.  I placed a few M&M’s on top of the chocolate to add some autumn color for this time of the year.

4. Refrigerate bars for one hour and then cut.

5. Serve with a drink and enjoy their delightful expression!

Until next time with more Sweet Conclusions,

Rosie & Gavin
