Minnesota Water Life Along The Crow River

A beautiful 76 degree afternoon made for a lovely nature walk and picnic along the Crow River in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  We were able to climb on rocks that a couple of weeks ago were covered by water.

The one time we were not searching for turtles we spotted some sunbathing on a log. The painted turtle is the most common turtle in the region. It is often referred to as a mud turtle.

We also had fun watching the ducks and birds catch fish.

We even got to meet some new friends along the path!

On the one statue’s shirt was engraved “Carpe Diem” or “Seize the Day” which we certainly did!

Until next time with more Sweet Conclusions.
