Winds of Strength

SOME MOMENTS WE HAVE TO HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE. LOOK AT THIS LITTLE GOLD FINCH CLINGING ON TO THE THISTLE SEED BAG AS THE WIND WAS SO STRONG. YOU CAN’T TELL IN THE PHOTO BUT THE BAG WAS TWIRLING COMPLETELY AROUND AT TIMES. WHAT A BRAVE AND HUNGRY LITTLE GUY.

MOMENTS WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.

BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR US, WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE WHERE NO WIND CAN EVER ERASE IT.

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

DON’T ALLOW ANYONE TO STUMP ON YOUR HEART. THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT LESSON FOR ME TO LEARN AS I HAVE A TENDER HEART.

THE WIND BLOWS WHEREVER IT PLEASES. YOU HEAR ITS SOUND, BUT YOU CANNOT TELL WHERE IT COMES FROM OR WHERE IT IS GOING. SO IT IS WITH EVERYONE BORN OF THE SPIRIT … THAT EVEN THE WINDS AND THE SEA OBEY HIM.

Until next time,

Rosie
