This afternoon while outside raking leaves, I happened to look into the beautiful, azure sky to view the majestic wing span of an American bald eagle flying over me. What a magnificent site to behold. This is not a daily normal site for me to view as I live in the city. Its distinctive brown body and white head and tail made it easy to identify. It made me think of the debate this evening as the bald eagle is the national bird of the United States of America and appears on its Seal.
President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are having a prime-time debate before millions with the power to settle the race for the White House in tough economic times as I type this post. The next United States presidential election is in five weeks,Tuesday, November 6,2012. It will be the 57th presidential election.
Vice President Joe Biden and Republican Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin have one debate, Oct. 11 in Danville, Kentucky.
The two presidential rivals also are scheduled to debate on Oct. 16 in Hempstead, N.Y., and Oct. 22 in Boca Raton, Florida.
There is five weeks left to listen and then vote. God Bless America and the whole world in keeping it safe.
