It’s the end of September and summer somehow disappeared way too quickly. I went for a walk to capture some of the wonders of autumn leaves in my neighborhood. Enjoy the beauty of the season’s vibrant colors and the lyrics of this song.
When Autumn Leaves Start to Fall.
The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips the summer kisses
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
The leaves have been subjected to Autumn’s touch.
They seem to really stand out against the azure sky as the moon appears.
Look how this leaf is heart shaped and folded at the top. Perhaps keeping summer tightly enclosed. Until next time, Rosie
Here is a link to the song, When Autumn Leaves Start to Fall. “Autumn Leaves” written by Joseph Kosman, Jacques Andre Marie Prevert, Johnny Mercer. Recorded by several artists. I picked Eric Clapton’s version to share with you.

We miss the changing of color, and the beautiful leaves falling in Minnesota. Reading this makes it feel like we are there with you. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Kathryn. I am glad you enjoyed the beauty. Perhaps, I should press a leaf and send to you!
