Gavin Hill holds the first three published books in “The Maze” series. Hill directed his play, “William Gray & the Family Next Door,” put on by students through Litchfield Community Education. His fourth book, “The Watchman” will be released this September.

Dynamic duo

Litchfield resident Rosie Hartwig stands with Best friend Gavin Hill during his visit from Europe. The pair met 16 years ago through a chatting website, and now are collaborating their writing and photography with their book, “Reflections Upon the Waters of Life” and writing for Area Voices.

A painted forest

British author Gavin Hill holds up a backdrop from his play, “William Gray & the Family Next Door” in the living room of Litchfield resident Rosie Hartwig. Hill brought all the costumes and scenery with him in suitcases from Europe, and students performed the play July 26. It was a huge success with an anti-bullying theme.
