Minnesota Memories

Sharing some photos of Gavin and Rosie discovering our Minnesota backyard …

Gavin crossing Salisbury Bridge in Meeker County built in 1899

Gavin and Rosie enjoying the views of Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.

Minnehaha Falls and the land surrounding it became one of the first state parks in the United States when it was purchased by the state of Minnesota in 1889.

The Stone Arch Bridge is a former railroad bridge crossing the Mississippi River at Saint Anthony Falls in downtown Minneapolis.

Minnesota Sunset at Star Lake

Β We try to pick a new spot each evening to enjoy the amazing sunsets across this beautiful land of 10,000 lakes.

Enjoying nature and the views of the Crow River near Kingston, MN

The Crow River is a tributary of the Mississippi River in south-central Minnesota. The Crow River has three forks: the North Fork, the South Fork and the Middle Fork, which is a major tributary to the North Fork. The South Fork of the Crow River flows eastward for 104 miles from Little Kandiyohi Lake in south-central Kandiyohi County through Meeker County, McLeod County, Carver County and Wright County.

Gavin at another section of the Crow River this time in Hutchinson, MN

How appropriate that one of the deer we viewed has a stop sign behind him. Telling us to stop and enjoy the moment.Β  May you also take in the sights and sounds of nature this weekend.

Until next time,

Rosie and Gavin
