Let Us Introduce Ourselves

George Strait has a song entitled, “Carrying Your Love With Me”.

I’m carrying your love with me.
West Virginia down to Tennessee.
I’ll be movin’ with the good Lord’s speed.
Carrying your love with me.
It’s my strength for holdin’ on,
Every minute that I have to be gone.
I’ll have everything I ever need.
Carrying your love with me.

Sixteen years ago, I was bed-ridden. A British man by the name of Gavin, who lived across the blue from me, connected on an internet chat system and his love has become my strength.

I did not know this man. I had never spoken to him before this first encounter. Thousands of miles away from each other and I instantly knew we would be soul mates.   How does one know such things? I had never seen his face, had never seen his smile, had never heard his voice, had never touched his hand but yet I knew in my heart we would be connected for not a moment, not a season in time but for life.

Gavin is a gifted author.  He gave me inspiration through his words.  I know what he told me came from his heart.  He would write to me about his life and many other subjects. He would read me his novels and poetry. Still to this day, the best part of waking up in the morning, is realizing I will have a message waiting to read from him.  Through all of these years, there isn’t a day that we don’t communicate.  I prefer when we speak on the phone as then I get to hear his British accent and he will always say something to make me laugh.  Just last summer, we met for the very first time! It was surreal.  I will write more about that in blogs to come.

When he would read his poetry to me, these poems inspired me to gain strength to eventually leave my bed and wheel chair. I gained strength to walk and I went searching for the correct visions in nature to capture his poems.  I am a photographer. I have compiled the photos and poems together.  Together, they make magic appear into a whole story of wonderment for all to enjoy. We call our company Sweet Conclusions.  We have recently compiled a book of our passion of poetry and photographs called, Reflections Upon the Waters of Life Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ  It is available for purchase by contacting me at rosa136@mchsi.com or Very Vintage.  We also have Sweet Conclusions greeting cards and photo enlargements available.  Our desire is to have you pause and reflect on the wonders of the world around us … peacefully slide away from reality on the wings of photo and verse.

Be blessed …. Rosie ღஜღ
